Call for Plenary Speaker Nominations & Expressions of Interest

HTAi members are the current and next wave of HTA leaders and experts. Help shape our HTAi 2026 Annual Meeting (June 8 - 10, Istanbul, Türkiye) by nominating thought leaders and trailblazers - or submit your own Expression of Interest to speak.

We are especially looking for new voices - emerging leaders, fresh perspectives, and those who may not have had the chance to speak on the plenary stage before.

Whether you have a fresh perspective to share—or know someone whose ideas are reshaping the field—we want to hear from you. Bring us innovative approaches, real‑world insights, and actionable strategies to tackle the biggest challenges in HTA.

About the Conference

The HTAi Annual Meeting is the flagship event bringing together experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from across the globe. It’s an impartial and inclusive platform for HTA stakeholders to meet, engage, and build cross‑disciplinary collaborations that foster empathy, knowledge sharing, and progress.

We welcome fresh perspectives, actionable insights, and practical takeaways. We are committed to diverse voices and strongly encourage nominations of experts from marginalized populations.

Who Can Be Nominated?

We welcome professionals, academics, industry leaders, decision-makers, and practitioners with strong track records in areas such as:
  • Health system stewardship & policy
  • HTA in LMICs & capacity building
  • Methods & real-world evidence
  • Digital health & AI
  • Sustainability & climate impacts
  • Ethics, equity & trust
New Voices Priority: We especially welcome first‑time plenary speakers; early‑ to mid‑career leaders; experts from low‑ and middle‑income countries; patient and community advocates; and nominees from historically underrepresented regions and groups.


Nominate a Speaker

Submit your nomination by October 22, 2025. You'll be asked for basic details about your nominee and a brief justification for why they'd be an excellent addition to the plenary line-up.

Individuals may also nominate themselves by submitting a concise Expression of Interest (EOI) aligned to the plenary focus areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by “new voices”?
We’re actively seeking first‑time HTAi plenary speakers and nominees from underrepresented regions, backgrounds, and career stages - especially early‑ to mid‑career leaders, patient/community advocates, and LMIC experts. Self‑nominations are welcome.
Can I nominate more than one person?
Yes. Please submit a separate form for each nominee so we can properly evaluate each proposal.
Can I nominate someone from outside HTA?
Absolutely - cross‑sector and adjacent‑domain leaders (policy, data science, clinical practice, climate & sustainability, economics, civil society, etc.) are encouraged.
Is travel support provided?
Details are confirmed during speaker onboarding and may vary. If applicable, information will be shared at the time of invitation.
What makes a strong nomination or EOI?
Clear alignment to the plenary focus, originality, evidence of impact, engaging delivery, and concrete takeaways for a global HTA audience.
