Participation Grant recipients must complete certain steps after the Annual Meeting to remain eligible for reimbursement and future funding.
Expense Report & Documentation
Recipients must submit:
A detailed expense report identifying all costs incurred
Valid receipts for every expense claimed
A completed wire transfer form to enable payment
Deadline: within 30 days after the last day of the Annual Meeting.
Annual Meeting Attendance Report
Recipients must also submit a written report reflecting on their participation in the meeting.
The report should cover:
HTA in low- or middle-income countries: impressions of the meeting and application in our context
Patients' involvement in HTA: reflections on interaction and engagement
HTA students: application of insights to your studies
Submission details:
Reports must be completed electronically (template will be provided) and sent to annualmeeting@htai.org
Reports are due within 30 days of the conference end date
Reporrts may be lightly edited by HTAi and may be published on the HTAi website, Annual Meeting site, or HTAi social media channels
Release of Funds
Reimbursement will only be made after both the expense report and attendance report are received
Grants will not be released before the meeting or in advance of incurred expenses
Failure to submit the required reports may result in loss of funding and ineligibility for future Participation Grants
By applying for a Participation Grant, applicants confirm their consent to HTAi publishing their anonymized attendance report for promotional and educational purposes.
Results & Acceptance
Successful applicants notified: February 3, 2027
Confirm acceptance by: February 16, 2027
Register by: March 25, 2027 (Early Bird deadline)
Failure to confirm or register by the deadlines will result in the grant being awarded to another applicant.
Participation Grants are non-transferable. If a recipient cannot attend, the grant is reallocated to the next eligible applicant.
