Did you Know? Key Tips About Your Time in Istanbul

Many visitors to Istanbul observe that added security screening at hotels, venues, and event spaces is very common. These quick screening checkpoints are a routine part of entering many large buildings throughout the city.

The HTAi 2026 Annual Meeting venues will have similar security procedures in place, so we recommend planning a little extra time when heading to sessions and events—especially during anticipated busy periods like the first day of workshops, the Welcome Reception, the opening day of the main program, and the Conference Dinner.

Arriving a few minutes early will help ensure a smooth and relaxed start to your day.
