Where and when is the Annual Meeting taking place?
The HTAi 2026 Annual Meeting will take place June 6–10 in Istanbul.
What is the official language of the meeting?
All HTAi Annual Meetings are conducted in English.
Is it possible to attend virtually?
No. The HTAi 2026 Annual Meeting is an in-person event only. Live streaming will not be available.
Do I have to be an HTAi member to attend?
No. Anyone working in, impacted by, or interested in health technology assessment (HTA) is welcome to attend. HTAi members receive discounted registration rates.
What is included in my registration?
Registration includes access to all Annual Meeting sessions and select networking opportunities. Some features, such as the Workshops, Welcome Reception, and Conference Dinner, may require separate registration through the registration portal.
Can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Cancellation and transfer policies will be outlined in our terms and conditions. Please review these details carefully before registering.
Do I need a visa to travel to Türkiye?
Visa requirements vary by country. We have provided some information here. However, attendees are encouraged to consult official travel resources to determine further entry requirements.
Can HTAi provide a visa support letter?
Yes. Attendees who require a visa support letter can request one during registration or by contacting annualmeeting@htai.org or clicking the mail icon at the bottom of the page. HTAi cannot provide additional support for visa applications.
Where can I stay during the meeting?
For this year’s meeting, HTAi has not designated a preferred hotel for general attendees. We therefore invite delegates to arrange accommodation based on their own preferences and budget, ideally in convenient proximity to the meeting venues. The main Annual Meeting sessions will take place at Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center (ICEC), Rumeli Hall, from 8–10 June 2026. Pre-conference Workshops and associated meetings on 6–7 June 2026 will be held at Bahçeşehir University (BAU), Beşiktaş South Campus. Will there be networking opportunities?
Yes. The program includes dedicated networking events such as the Welcome Reception (Sunday evening) and Conference Dinner (Tuesday evening), along with additional opportunities throughout the meeting.
Will there be activities for travel companions?
While HTAi programming is focused on registered attendees, the venue will provide information on local activities and attractions in Istanbul for companions.
What should I wear?
Smart casual or business casual attire is recommended for all sessions and events such as the Welcome Reception. Business casual or cocktail attire is recommended for the Conference Dinner.
Will food and refreshments be provided?

Are accommodations available for attendees with accessibility needs?

When will the full program be available?
The full program, including session details and speakers, will be published on the Annual Meeting website in advance of the event. The Schedule at a Glance is available now, in addition to the full Panel program and the full Workshop program.
What types of sessions can I expect?
The program will include a range of formats such as panels, presentations, and discussions designed to support learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
Do presenters need to register for the meeting?
Yes. All presenters are required to register and attend the Annual Meeting in person.
Can presentations be delivered in another language?
All presentations must be provided in English, the official language of the Annual Meeting.
Can speakers present remotely?
No. Presenters are expected to attend in person. In exceptional circumstances, pre-recorded presentations may be considered.
Do I have to use the branded PowerPoint template?
Use of the official 2026 slide template is encouraged but not required.
Will there be health and safety measures in place?
HTAi will follow all applicable local guidelines and venue protocols to support a safe environment for attendees.
Is there a code of conduct?
Yes. All attendees are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. The HTAi Code of Conduct is available online, will be provided on-site, and is also included in the event program.

Can I apply for a media pass for the Annual Meeting?
Yes. Each year, a select number of media passes are available to accredited journalists, media professionals, and content creators with a demonstrated interest in health policy, innovation, and healthcare systems. Interested parties can apply for a media pass here.
