The HTAi Annual Meeting is the flagship event of the organization, drawing experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from across the globe. The Annual Meeting provides an impartial and inclusive platform for all HTA stakeholders worldwide to meet and engage. The theme of the 2025 Annual Meeting is NextGen Evidence: Diversifying and Advancing HTA to Meet Global Demands.

The healthcare sector is witnessing an escalating demand for timely, pertinent, and high-quality evidence that extends beyond conventional sources. From extensive healthcare transaction data to personal wearables and environmental trends, these demands present opportunities for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) to innovate and collaborate, positioning itself at the forefront of addressing both technological and non-technological changes in healthcare.

Next Generation (NextGen) Evidence embodies a transformative shift in how we generate, analyze, interpret, and utilize evidence in HTA. It embraces a spectrum of solutions, from high-tech to low-tech, reflecting the evolving global perspectives and capacities needed to meet diverse healthcare demands. This type of evidence expands the scope of HTA to encompass greater dimensions of health technology impact, innovative trial designs, non-traditional data sources, equity considerations, environmental factors, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and adaptive HTA methods.

Plenary Session Focus

The plenary session at the HTAi 2025 Annual Meeting will focus on

We are particularly interested in individuals that can offer fresh perspectives, actionable insights, and practical takeaways for our attendees. We are committed to ensuring diverse voices and perspectives on our stage, and strongly encourage nominations of experts from marginalized populations.

Who Can Be Nominated?

We welcome nominations for professionals, academics, industry leaders, and practitioners with a strong track record in the following areas:

• Digital Health
• Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare
• Sustainable Health Technology
• Health Policy and Ethics

Nominees should have:

• Demonstrated expertise in their proposed topic area.
• Experience in public speaking, with a track record of engaging and informative presentations.
• A commitment to contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice in healthcare.

Simply complete our Nomination Form by October 30, 2024. You’ll be asked to provide basic information about your nominee and a brief justification for why they would be an excellent addition to our speaker lineup.
